    Indianapolis Comprehensive Treatment Center

    Garmong Construction served as Design-Builder for this 27,900-square-foot, two-story clinic which provides medication assisted therapy and counseling services for patients recovering from opiate addiction. The facility includes 12 medication dispensing rooms, a pharmacy, counseling and administrative offices and secured storage capabilities.

    Garmong Construction completed this fast-paced, 55,000-square-foot laboratory renovation within a compressed 14-week schedule. In addition to a newly constructed greenhouse, this renovation project features wet labs, teaching lab space, computer labs, a clean room, collaborative learning spaces, a research lab and new storage facilities with new casework, countertops, flooring, exhaust hood systems and lab storage.

    South Central Indiana REMC

    Garmong was challenged with taking four existing SCI REMC buildings on a very constricted 7.5 acre site and designing and constructing two new buildings to house all of SCI REMC’s administration and operations. The two buildings were constructed to completion while maintaining SCI REMC’s administrative staff on-site. The admin/operations building consists of 50,000 square-feet of office and community room space spread over two stories, as well as a basement and an operations warehouse of approximately 38,000 square-feet. There is also an additional vehicle storage building that is approximately 18,000 square-feet. All buildings were constructed with precast concrete walls and a structural steel frame and metal roof.

    TRW Automotive Electronics

    In just 12 weeks, Garmong Construction delivered this 44,000-square-foot space, for the high tech manufacture of automotive electronics for TRW Corporation, Marshall, Illinois. Sixteen weeks later, another 65,000 square-feet was delivered. The TRW facility was completed on the day promised and under budget. Following completion of the projects above, Garmong Construction was asked to complete numerous additional projects including, but not limited to, test engineering offices and a testing complex, an environmental testing laboratory, an operable wall system, locker rooms, a cafeteria, a security center and a mezzanine.

    Midtown East Parking Garage

    Garmong Construction is serving as design-builder for the construction of two parking garages in downtown Carmel, as part of the overall Midtown Development. The first, a $9.1M, six-story, 580 space parking garage is scheduled for completion this fall. The second garage, which will begin concurrent construction later this year, is a $4.8 million, four-story, 308 space garage with completion scheduled for 2018.

    Garmong served as Construction Manager for the addition of a 2,400-square-foot service reception area and a 6,400-square-foot interior renovation to the showroom, offices, customer lounge, new car delivery room and service department. Exterior aluminum metal panel façade upgrades were also incorporated, per General Motors standards, and the exterior vehicle display area was replaced. This fast-track, multi-phased project was completed without disruption to daily business operations.

    Maryland Community Church

    The key to any successful church project is a collaborative relationship with the congregation’s Building Committee. This project literally took months of pre-construction engagement between the Building Committee, Garmong Construction, and Hannum, Wagle & Cline Engineering. As a result of this pre-construction collaboration, change orders were nearly non-existent, the schedule was maintained, and the members of Maryland Church could anticipate at a very early stage the actual cost of the project as offered by Garmong Construction as a validated guaranteed maximum price. This 75,000-square-foot, Design-Build project involved more than three years of programming and design, and nearly two full years of construction. Project highlights and unique attributes of this facility include a 1,400 seat sanctuary, atrium seating for 400+, a café and library, an industrial kitchen, a gymnasium and numerous classrooms.

    I-69 Commercial Rail Logistics Center

    This 58,000 square foot truck/rail logistics center features 40,000 square foot of immediately expandable shell space, an enclosed 18,000 square foot cross dock, and a large exterior center-beam rail car cargo transfer pad. Garmong served as the design-builder in partnership with the Daviess County Growth Foundation. Garmong’s role was multi-faceted including the forecasting of the economic development implications of the project upon the surrounding region, the creation of site development standards, and determination of required infrastructure and access road improvements.

    Terre Haute Savings Bank

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the construction of two new branch locations for Terre Haute Savings Bank (THSB), while also completing renovations to their main, downtown location. Garmong Construction has been a longtime construction partner to THSB, having constructed their first branch location nearly 10 years ago.

    Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Rose Ventures

    Garmong Construction served as the Design-Builder for this $1.8M renovation of an existing 30,000-square-foot office building. The renovated space included a fully operational machine shop, wet chemistry labs, office space and a state-of-the-art presentation room. The project was phased to keep the building operational at all times.

    Deaconess Hospital – Tower B Sixth Floor Build-Out

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the build-out of 30,000 square-feet of existing shell space on the sixth floor of Deaconess Gateway Hospital. The project was completed in five months to allow for immediate owner occupancy. This area includes ICU compatible rooms, 32 new patient rooms, center core nurse stations, clean common areas, as well as, the Gateway Campus telemetry hub.
