    Monon on Main Development

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this $20M mixed-use development project in downtown Carmel. The project features a three-story, 12,000-square-foot upscale steakhouse; a three-story office building with 17,600 square-feet of office space and 8,000 square-feet of ground level retail space along Main Street; seven townhouses, a park along the Monon Trail and a parking garage. The project is located at the intersection of Main Street and the Monon Trail.

    Pro X Athlete Development

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this new 60,000-square-foot baseball/athletic training facility. Located within Westfield’s Grand Park, the multi-sport training facility features open turf for two full-sized baseball diamonds; 22 batting cages; two full swing golf simulators; a weight room; and a fully operational Sports Rehab/Physical Therapy office.

    Purdue University Discovery Learning Research Center

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this approximately 35,000-square-foot renovation. The scope of the renovation changed the third and fourth floors from 100% office space to 80% laboratories and 20% office and collaboration space. The renovation replaced all finishes (ceiling, flooring, lighting, etc.) on levels three and four. The Purdue Institute of Integrative Neuroscience is located on the fourth floor and the Purdue Institute of Inflammation, Immunology and Infectious Diseases is located on the third floor.

    Rose-Hulman Mussallem Union

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this $25.0M expansion and remodel project that included the addition of 19,010 square-feet and remodeled space within the existing 84,900-square-foot student center. New features include expanded student lounge spaces, new outdoor patio and gathering spaces, a newly refurbished main dining room and servery, new state-of-the art spaces for the Office of Corporate Engagement and new and refurbished conference rooms.

    Purdue University Honors College

    Garmong Construction served as the Owner’s Technical Representative on this new 300,000-square-foot living and learning community. Garmong was engaged by Purdue to prepare a preconstruction analysis to confirm the budget and schedule, and to provide technical expertise to Purdue on its first Construction Management at Risk project. Garmong worked side-by-side with Purdue over 18 months, providing guidance for various processes ranging from Architect/Engineer selection to CMc pay application review.

    North American Retail Hardware Association

    Garmong Construction served as the Construction Manager on the renovation of a downtown Indianapolis office building for the North American Retail Hardware Association. Located within the city center, the Delaware Street office building serves as the headquarters for NRHA operations in the US and Canada. Services provided by Garmong included preconstruction budgeting, value engineering reviews, local permitting and code reviews, construction coordination, and project closeout.

    Clay Community Schools

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this $33.0M renovation and addition project. The scope of work included renovations and additions to Northview High School, Clay City Junior/Senior High School and Northview Middle School. Upgrades to Clay City Junior/Senior High School included a new student activity center and renovations to multiple classroom areas such as the media center, business area, family and consumer science (FACS) area, the auditorium and the band room. Northview High School included a new student activity center and classroom additions, as well as renovations to the band and vocational classrooms, locker rooms and restrooms and administrative office areas. Changes to Northview Middle School included new lockers throughout, security upgrades, as well as student docking stations.

    Posey County Jail

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the renovation and expansion of Posey County Jail. The expansion included a new 19,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building housing POD with a central command center and adjacent inmate day rooms. The existing building was renovated down to the building structure and included the construction of new offices, visitation and booking areas.

    Union Hospital Expansion

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this $178.0M, 500,000-square-foot expansion, which included four stories and a lower-level, emergency services, imaging, surgery, endoscopy, recovery, telemetry, respiratory therapy, inpatient therapy, intensive care and medical/surgical beds, as well as, specialty unit beds for, orthopedics, neurology/neurosurgery and oncology. The new facility connects via tunnel with the existing hospital. This project is one of the most extensive in Terre Haute’s history.

    Harsha Behavioral Center

    Garmong Construction served as the Construction Manager for the new Harsha Behavioral Center in Terre Haute. This 53,000-square-foot mental health hospital includes 56 patient rooms, a cafeteria, gymnasium and administrative offices. Harsha currently serves children, adolescents and geriatric patients. Following the announcement of the new facility, Harsha added an inpatient acute care wing to the project scope that will include treatment for individuals experiencing crisis stemming from mental health issues, dual diagnosis, chemical dependencies and detoxification.

    Wayne Township Fire Station

    Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the demolition and reconstruction of the existing Wayne Township Fire Station 82 and partial renovation of the Wayne Township Government Center. The new fire station is 22,595 square-feet and there is 6,683 square-feet of new/renovated space at the Government Center. Wayne Township is located on the west side of Indianapolis.
