Lawrence Fire Station #38

Garmong Construction served as the Construction  Manager and DELV Design as the Architect/Interior Designer  on this new five-bay fire station for the City of Lawrence,  IN. The station, Lawrence’s first to implement best practices  relative to carcinogen containment and segregation, is being  built with firefighter health and safety at the forefront of  design. This modern station is approximately 17,698 GSF  and is being constructed on the site of the current Station 38.

To accommodate apparatus storage during construction and  specialty equipment storage post construction, the project also  includes a five-bay (4,812 GSF) pre-engineered building on  the same site. This state-of-the-art station will be a prototype  for future Lawrence stations.
