Garmong Construction served as the Construction Manager, and DELV Design as the Architect/Interior Designer, for this new five-bay fire station for the City of Lawrence, IN. The station, Lawrence’s first to implement best practices relative to carcinogen containment and segregation, is built with firefighter health and safety at the forefront of design. This modern station is approximately 17,698 square feet.
To accommodate apparatus storage during construction and specialty equipment storage post construction, the project also includes a five-bay pre-engineered building on the same site. This state-of-the-art station is a prototype for future Lawrence stations.
