Garmong served as General Contractor for this 6,815-square-foot inpatient hospice facility, located on the renovated fifth floor of Union Hospital West. As the first and only such facility within a 60-mile radius of Terre Haute, the Hospice Center’s homelike atmosphere includes eight (8) patient rooms with sleeping area for family members, and the incorporation of hidden but accessible medical equipment; a common area living room, kitchen and playroom; laundry room; and quiet/chapel room.
