Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the renovation and conversion of four existing operating rooms into a new GE Hybrid Operating Room (OR) unit. The first of its kind in southwest Indiana, the complex project delivery of this GE Hybrid OR consisted of five phases and occurred over a 32-week period. It is designed to optimize efficiency for trauma-related operations to work hand-in-hand with cardio, cath, and imaging teams within the same unit. This project is located in the heart of Deaconess Hospital’s downtown medical campus.
