Garmong served as Construction Manager for the renovation and addition to this 1930’s facility. The renovation of this project included two classroom spaces, rock climbing walls, ropes courses, and an indoor archery range. The addition included a new playground, a road around the campus, a parking lot, cart racks, and a new entry plaza.
Garmong Construction is serving as Construction Manager for the renovation of the Eiteljorg Museum Terrace. This 2,225-square-foot project focuses on converting an exterior terrace to an interior space for the Clowes Ballroom Terrace. Located in downtown Indianapolis, the project team coordinates closely with the museum staff to minimize disruption and ensuring that the project maintains a high level of quality, security, and safety.
Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this new, 74,000-square-foot aquatic center, located in Gavin Park adjacent to historic Bosse Field. This project consisted of a “stretch 50” competition pool with 10 racing lanes, moveable bulkheads for multiple course configurations, (2) one-meter diving platforms, (2) three-meter diving platforms, a 5,000-square-foot indoor leisure pool, dedicated competition locker rooms and family locker rooms and seating capacity for 960 spectators. Current professional swimmer and 2016 Olympic Gold Medalist, and native of Evansville, Lilly King, has been involved in the early planning and design.
Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the 41,000-square-foot Terre Haute Convention Center. Located in the downtown area, the facility is largely single-story with a main ballroom, which accommodates up to 900 people, and a full-service kitchen area. The structure also includes a two-story section that houses the Larry Bird Museum on the first floor and administrative areas on the second floor. Simultaneously, Garmong also constructed a five-level, pre-cast parking garage to accommodate the Convention Center.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the construction of West Side Tractor Sales. This $2.5M 11,430-square-foot facility provides sales and services for heavy construction and agricultural equipment, primarily John Deere. The shell is a Nucor Pre-Engineered Metal Building with 6,400 square-feet dedicated to equipment service/repair and 5,030 square-feet for business offices, a conference room, restroom/locker space, breakroom, parts, sales and storage.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for this new, 27,000-square-foot automotive dealership, which features a visually astounding showroom, a customer lounge with numerous amenities for comfort, private management offices, an open and inviting sales floor with high end finishes, service bays with state-of-the-art inground automotive lifts, an indoor heated wash bay, and a well lit exterior hardscape. This project was constructed in less than 10 months.
Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this new, 60,000-square-foot baseball/athletic training facility. Located within Westfield’s Grand Park, the multi-sport training facility features open turf for two full-sized baseball diamonds; 22 batting cages; two full swing golf simulators; a weight room; and a fully operational sports rehab/physical therapy office.
Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this 62,000-square-foot clubhouse. The clubhouse features a two-story recreation center with indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness area, locker rooms, basketball gym, bowling alley, and child care area. Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for the addition of a 2,400-square-foot service reception area and a 6,400-square-foot interior renovation to the showroom, offices, customer lounge, new car delivery room and service department. Exterior aluminum metal panel façade upgrades were also incorporated, per General Motors standards, and the exterior vehicle display area was replaced. This fast-track, multi-phased project was completed without disruption to daily business operations.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the Courtyard by Marriott project developed by The Arc Innovations, Inc. This $29.5M, 113,644-square-foot hotel has six floors and 150 rooms. It is located next to the Convention Center, where a four-level parking garage to accommodate the Convention Center, Hotel and downtown Muncie was also constructed by Garmong Construction.
Garmong Construction served as Construction Manager for this $20M mixed-use development project in downtown Carmel. The project features a three-story, 12,000-square-foot restaurant area housing Anthony’s Chophouse, an upscale steakhouse, on the first two floors, and 3UP, a swanky rooftop bar offering an a la carte menu and hand-crafted cocktails, on the third floor, both of which are now open; a three-story office building with 17,600 square-feet of office space and 8,000 square-feet of ground level retail space along Main Street; seven townhouses, a park along the Monon Trail and a parking garage. The project is located at the intersection of Main Street and the Monon Trail.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for this 3,800-square-foot Mission BBQ restaurant buildout in Southwestern Indiana. Project components included a 100-capacity dining room, a full-service kitchen area with open service line / food prep for catering purposes and all MEP scope. Exterior components included new EIFS façade and an outdoor dining patio.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the renovation of the former Fifth Third Bank building to create 6,000 square-feet of retail space for Ross Elliott Jewelers. The renovated space was designed to accommodate the jewelry retail business including custom cabinetry and lighting throughout the showroom, private customer consultation areas, vault storage, and a customer drive-thru drop-off/pick-up service. This fast-tracked project was completed in less than five months.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for a Thr3e Wise Men Brewing Company restaurant located in Muncie’s Courtyard by Marriott Arc hotel. Garmong constructed the 4,300-square-foot restaurant, along with its 1,200-square-foot patio, in addition to, and in conjunction with, the hotel and a 4-level parking garage, all of which is located next to Muncie’s downtown Convention Center.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor on this third-floor tenant fit out for CH Robinson, a global logistics company. The project required an extremely aggressive nine-week schedule and included 10,000 square-feet of office space, a state-of-the-art teleconference room, and an employee lounge. The new office space, which accommodates nearly 110 employees, is located in Downtown Indianapolis.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for the Coast to Coast Imports auto dealership in Indianapolis. Located at 96th and Keystone, this 18,000-square-foot high-end import dealership (branded as “The Collection”) features a four-story car lift display, open concept showroom, premium customer lobby area, and full service garage. Construction activity began on a vacant site in March of 2017 and less than eight months later the first cars rolled off the lot.
Garmong Construction served as the Construction Manager on the renovation of a downtown Indianapolis office building. Located within the city center, the Delaware Street office building served as the headquarters for NRHA operations in the US and Canada. Services provided by Garmong included preconstruction budgeting, value engineering reviews, local permitting and code reviews, construction coordination, and project closeout.
Operated as a bank over 90 years ago, Garmong Construction restored this historic landmark that currently houses the Cox, Zwerner, Gambill & Sullivan Law Firm. This project included the removal of suspended ceilings and ductwork to open the main room to its original 30 foot ceiling; and the renovation of 18 offices, conference rooms and a central conference room that overlooks the atrium. At the time of construction, the project was the largest historical tax credit project in western Indiana.
Garmong Construction completed multiple remodel projects for this internet, hosting and technology services provider including interior renovations and façade improvements to their transmitting facility; remodel of administrative areas to their headquarters location; and alley way improvements, mainly comprised of concrete work, to accommodate upgraded internet service.
Garmong Construction served as General Contractor for this 17,500-square-foot broadcasting station. The two-story structure incorporates a 2,500-square-foot studio with a black epoxy floor, as well as black ductwork, walls and ceiling. The building, constructed with a masonry exterior, also includes a 1,500-square-foot mezzanine level and 5,000-square-foot basement. This project required coordination with the General Manager, Chief Engineer, Director of Operations, and multiple consultants and integrators to accommodate all rackroom needs for satellites, microwave transmitters, radar equipment, fiber optic, operations logistics, etc. Garmong also installed custom built casework and control room cabinetry.
