Our approach to Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) is like a well-choreographed dance where we take the lead and make sure the public entity doesn’t miss a step. In a nutshell, the public entity says, “Here’s what we need and what we can afford,” and we take it from there—designing, building, operating, and finally transferring the facility. This method is a win-win because it transfers almost all the risk to Garmong while ensuring the project meets the public entity’s needs. With a team of industry leaders ready to dive in, we will take full responsibility for delivering the finished product and ensuring you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Garmong has served as a General Contractor since its founding in 1923… we know how to build! It is the very foundation of our construction capability. In fact, knowing how to “swing the hammer” is the cornerstone of the other services we provide. As a pioneer of the Design-Build delivery method in Indiana, we have paved the way for single-sourced, competitively-priced, fast-track projects throughout the state. We began using Design-Build back in the 1950’s, before it was cool, with projects such as Crawford Elementary School and Maryland Community Church in Terre Haute, both of which are still standing and repurposed.
